Why do binders bulge? +
Each card sleeve + card stack ≈ 0.03" thick. 50 pages × 9 cards in penny sleeves = 1.5" of stack, but the binder has rings, covers, and you need slack to actually turn pages.
Best binder for slabs? +
Don't use a binder. Use a graded card box or display case. Slabs are too thick and rigid; binder rings warp under that pressure.
Vaultx vs Ultra Pro vs Dragon Shield? +
Vaultx and Dragon Shield have side-loading pages (cards don't slide out). Ultra Pro top-loading is the cheap classic.
