Welcome to ClutchCalcs. By using clutchcalcs.com (the "Site") you agree to these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you don't agree, please don't use the Site. We've kept these terms short and readable.

1. What we provide

ClutchCalcs offers free online calculators for construction, home improvement, trading cards, pool building, health, baking, and other categories. The calculators are tools — not professional advice.

2. No professional advice

The calculators on this Site are for informational and estimating purposes only. They are not a substitute for professional advice from a licensed contractor, engineer, electrician, plumber, financial advisor, medical professional, or any other qualified expert.

  • Construction & pool calculators: always confirm structural, electrical, and code requirements with a licensed professional and your local Authority Having Jurisdiction (AHJ) before building.
  • Health calculators (BMI, calorie, macro, etc.): not a diagnosis. Consult a doctor or registered dietitian for medical decisions.
  • Financial calculators (break-even, ROI, fees): estimates only. Fees and market values change. Verify with the relevant provider before transacting.
  • Card grading / collecting calculators: grading outcomes and market values are inherently uncertain. Past comps don't guarantee future prices.

3. Accuracy

We work hard to keep the calculators accurate. We do not warrant that they are error-free, complete, or current. Formulas, rates (postage, fees, code minimums), and reference data are based on publicly available information at the time of writing and may become outdated. You are responsible for verifying any result before relying on it.

4. Acceptable use

You may use the Site for personal and commercial use. You may not:

  • Scrape, copy, or republish substantial portions of the Site without permission
  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or extract our calculation logic to build a competing service
  • Use automated bots that degrade Site performance
  • Interfere with security features or attempt to gain unauthorized access
  • Use the Site for any illegal purpose

5. Intellectual property

All Site content — including text, graphics, logos, calculator UI, code, and the ClutchCalcs name — is owned by ClutchCalcs and protected by U.S. and international copyright and trademark law. You receive a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Site for its intended purpose.

Calculator results you generate from your own inputs are yours to use. The underlying formulas and content are ours.

6. Third-party content and links

The Site contains ads (via Google AdSense) and links to third-party websites. We don't control or endorse third-party content. We're not responsible for the accuracy, legality, or safety of third-party sites or services.

7. Disclaimer of warranties

THE SITE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION ANY WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, OR ACCURACY. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SITE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR FREE OF VIRUSES OR OTHER HARMFUL COMPONENTS.

8. Limitation of liability

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, CLUTCHCALCS AND ITS OWNERS, OPERATORS, AND CONTRIBUTORS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR REVENUE, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE SITE. OUR TOTAL CUMULATIVE LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM RELATING TO THE SITE WILL NOT EXCEED ONE HUNDRED DOLLARS (US$100) OR THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE TWELVE MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM, WHICHEVER IS GREATER.

9. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold ClutchCalcs harmless from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from your use of the Site or violation of these Terms.

10. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be flagged on the Site. Continued use after changes means you accept the new Terms.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Ohio, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute will be resolved in the state or federal courts of Montgomery County, Ohio.
