Marketplace fee cheat-sheet (2026)
- eBay Trading Cards: ~13.25% FVF + $0.30/order. No store subscription needed for cards.
- eBay Store: ~12.35% if you have a Basic+ store subscription.
- PWCC Marketplace: ~20% all-in, but they handle vaulting.
- COMC: 20% sale fee + processing fees ($1+ per card). Better for grinding bulk.
- Goldin: 0% seller fee on most lots — buyer pays the premium.
- Whatnot: 8% + 2.9% payment fee ≈ 11% total. Live auction format.
- MySlabs: 0% seller fee. Buyer pays a small premium. Niche but growing.
FAQ
Is the fee taken from item + shipping? +
On eBay, yes — the FVF is on the total order (item + shipping + tax). We model that.
What about Promoted Listings? +
Add the ad rate %. eBay deducts it on top of the FVF. 2–5% is common on cards.
State sales tax? +
eBay collects it from the buyer. The fee is calculated on the total including tax, which is why your effective rate is usually a hair higher than the headline %.
