Why 10% waste? +
Trucks deliver more than the spec calls for; some is lost to overflow, screeding, and absorbing into sub-base. 10% is the residential minimum; 15%+ for irregular shapes.
Order whole yards? +
Most plants charge for partial yards in 1/4 or 1/2 CY increments. Always round up your order — short pours fail.
