FAQ
Why does BSFC matter? +
Brake-specific fuel consumption = lb of fuel per HP per hour. Tighter engines run lower BSFC. Turbo + race fuel + E85 all need more.
Why 25% margin? +
Pumps lose flow at higher pressures (boost increases fuel pressure). Voltage drops at idle also reduce pump output. Always size with headroom.
