Why does latent load matter? +
In Houston or Miami, 40-50% of total cooling load is just removing moisture. Sizing for sensible only leaves you cold-and-clammy.
Right indoor RH? +
50-55% RH at 75F is the comfort sweet spot. Below 30% feels dry; above 60% feels muggy and grows mold.
